In July, we went to Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture, the largest island in the Sea of ​​Japan. Sado Island was registered as a World Heritage Site on July 27, 2024 as "Sado Island Gold Mine." This time, we made a video of our stay in the Premium Suite and Royal Suite at Hotel Oosado, a hot spring resort hotel where all rooms have ocean views overlooking the deep blue sea. This is a long-established hotel in Sado with a rich history, but the suite rooms, which were renovated in 2024 in a modern Japanese style, were very spacious and lovely, and we had a very comfortable stay. The hot springs overlooking the Sea of ​​Japan, the events held at the hotel, the cuisine made with local Sado ingredients, and the hospitality of the landlady and other staff were all impressive.
