【源泉掛け流し露天風呂付きメゾネットでおこもりステイ】上質な癒しの温泉宿で新潟の逸品料理を堪能

Early March 2024. We stayed at the Shiki Yuzawa QUATTRO near Echigo-Yuzawa Station in Niigata Prefecture. This stylish 4-unit hot spring ryokan was opened in 2013 by the Honjin Resort Group. It is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station. All rooms are maisonette-type rooms with an open-air bath with free-flowing hot-spring water. It is a designer building with a novel design, with glass walls in the indoor baths and powder room. The open-air bath in the room is free-flowing Yuzawa Onsen hot-spring water, and is said to be a "waterfront open-air bath with free-flowing hot-spring water" with its unique design placed in a corner of a water basin flowing down from a large aquafall. Dinner was served in the dining room of our room with a course called "Chef's recommendation: Enjoy a one-rank higher dinner in your room”. We enjoyed a sumptuous meal that generously used the finest ingredients from Niigata, including premium seafood sashimi from the Sea of Japan, A5 grade Murakami beef Shabu-shabu, and grilled Nodoguro (Rosy seabass). The taste of the Uonuma Koshihikari rice served here was exceptional. From check-in to check-out, you can enjoy a stay in a high quality space and fine hospitality.
