MANUAL GEARS!! ADL Enviro400MMC Cummins 6.7/Voith | Stagecoach East Midlands 11194 YW19 VUP

It's time to bring back the Manual gears series, this time bringing you a very special episode. We've been with our good friends at Stagecoach in the East Midlands over the past few weeks. Now, just like the previous video, It's been a long time since we've posted an Enviro400MMC. With them having quite restricted gearboxes, they're not quite a fit for our channel especially as the older buses are leaving our streets. We used to record them from time to time although our priorities remain on the interesting buses. We have to make the exception for this Voith/Cummins MMC though, Stagecoach East Midlands 11194 as not too long ago it has had a manual gear selector fitted to it. With help from the team at the Hull depot, we have a great video to show you of its performance. A big problem for these MMCs is the short gear changes that causes the DPFs to clog up, especially when not running at 40mph continuously. The adblue also has a part to play in that. It's good that this one can stretch its legs as its what they need. Again a big thankyou to the Hull depots' help in making this possible. Enjoy another great video of our manual gears series.
