Overnight to Paris as a Eurostar Train Manager

Come to Paris for an overnight shift (a ‘lodge’) with a London-based Eurostar Train Crew. See how as a Train Manager I start my day at home, ride my Triumph Thruxton motorcycle to the station where I take the SouthEastern Javelin High Speed Train to London St Pancras International. Once I join the rest of my crew, Train Manager Pembe and Train Driver Rebecca, we head up to the platform to work a Eurostar E300 train to Paris. In Paris we enjoy a meal together at Bouillon Chartier before a walk along the Canal St Martin. In the morning we work a Eurostar E320 Siemens Valero from Paris Gare du Nord to London St Pancras International, before heading home for a happy reunion with the dogs. IMPORTANT INFO. BEFORE YOU COMMENT, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: This video is NOT sponsored, commissioned, or endorsed in any way by any business or organisation, not even Eurostar. This is a personal account of my life. If you have any questions about the company I work for, any comments etc about the service, then please head to the website at eurostar.com and use the 'contact us' facility. Please note that while I care passionately about the people I'm looking after on my train, I'm 'just' an operative and I AM NOT A COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR. No, I don't know if we'll ever stop at Ashford or Ebbsfleet again. And I'm sorry if you've ever had a bad experience... but leaving a comment to someone's personal vlog isn't really going to fix or achieve anything. Please be assured that at NO POINT WHATSOEVER was safety compromised during the making of this video. If you have any comments or questions please do ask away, and I’ll hopefully make a Q&A video in the future with some willing colleagues. Please show my wonderful colleague PEMBE some love by checking out her channel Pembe the African Princess at @pembetheafricanprincess4353 Please also check out the Instagram feed of my fabulous East Midlands Railway colleague Mel, a train driver based in London:   / thattraindrivermum   THANKS FOR WATCHING and hopefully see you on board very soon 😁
