Time Warped | Trains at: Sprey Point & TIverton Parkway, Incl. D1015 & 35028! (23/05/26)

It's been a good month again since the last vid... let's really get back on track now (no pun intended!). Then again, this video's been edited for a week and a half, just awaiting info cards... I promise, the next video won't be that long away! There are 3 currently on the backburner- a TS route learner (filmed), another TS route learner (planned), and another ranger (filmed, being edited this week)! Anyhow, to the video description. In this video, see what can be argued as a "dual time warp" for the Western Region- a return to 2 different time periods for the region- the days of Steam, and Western Hydraulics! See D1015 (89146 if you want to go off TOPS!) roar past Sprey Point in Teignmouth, with arguably my favourite photos of the day, before we double back to Newton temporarily, before heading off to Tiverton. Following this, see one of two mainline Merchants storm back through Tivvy- 35028 "Clan Line" (the other being 35018 "British India Line")- what a sight! Merchants, whilst not a major stomping ground being Devon, they could still be seen tramping the region, similarly, the Western Hydraulics thrashing along the GWML! After seeing Clan Line, we do our next "double back" to Exeter, where I was expecting to go to Starcross, given the very small time allowance to get back to Teignmouth... or would it be? Hello 1C85- you get me to Teignmouth an extra 20 mins before? Noice, back to Sprey Point! Back at Sprey Point, it wasn't too long to wait for the Hydraulic, seen thrashing back up the wall, interestingly, on a deadrun back to Paddington! That's something I've not heard of for years- 2019 was the last time (as far as I know), and that was in reverse to this- the last GWR 2+8- "The Flying Banana" tour. Amazing day, and certainly nice to see, in a way, some locos back on their former stomping grounds... LSL, please take note for the EREs for the remainder of the year! Thank you! I hope you enjoy!
