He was able to answer questions such as: "Who is this?" and "What are you doing?", but in unfamiliar situations, he didn't always differentiate the meaning of these questions. Unfamiliar instructions and new tasks were difficult; he could respond with formulas, ignoring the essence of the question itself. The boy didn't ask questions and echolapied. Phrases consisted of 2-3 words, but grammar difficulties persisted: he made mistakes in endings and in declensions of words according to gender and case. Lyova was emotional and exhibited perfectionism in his behavior, overreacting to difficulties and becoming very upset by failures. Imitative activity was developed, but difficulties with gross motor skills remained. Higher mental functions did not meet age norms. After 9 months of regular and systematic correction with our specialist, Lyova reached full speech, intellectual, and age-appropriate levels. The boy freely understands spoken language without prompting or visual support, and follows complex logical and grammatical instructions. He confidently engages in dialogue, recounts events from his life, maintains the topic of conversation, and asks questions. Grammatical speech is age-appropriate: Lyova uses pronouns correctly, and agrees on gender, number, and case. He can compose coherent descriptive and narrative stories based on pictures, establishes cause-and-effect relationships, and can even invent reasons for events. He enjoys talking about his life, following the sequence of events. He also shows an interest in social interactions and conversations with others. Gross motor skills are age-appropriate: Lyova can ride a bicycle, scooter, and balance bike. Higher mental functions are age-appropriate.
