Today, I'm out stand-up paddleboarding in the green heart of the Ruhr region. I'm paddling along the gentle hills of the Ruhr Valley, sometimes with a slight current. Today's stretch between Witten and Hattingen can also be easily divided into two sections of approximately 10 km each. The Ruhr tour starts in Witten, goes across Lake Kamnader, and ends in front of Isenburg Castle in Hattingen.
