Severe intellectual disability, always energetic and smiling! This is U-chan's growth diary. Thank you for watching! U-chan is a 17-year-old boy with severe intellectual disabilities. He is still growing slowly and is still a third-year high school student at a special needs school. He can't speak, but he can say "mama," "papa," and "nini" (older brother). He can understand what is being said. He can read and write hiragana, and is good at gestures and signs, so he can communicate in simple ways. Despite his disability, thanks to the support of the kind local community, the kind and enthusiastic teachers at school, and the day care center staff, he is always cheerful, energetic, and smiling. This channel is a growth diary of U-chan and his family. We deliver everyday life as it is. We hope to share U-chan's carefree smile with as many people as possible. We hope that U-chan's pure smile and gestures will bring healing to everyone... Of course, we also hope that this will be a place for interaction with others struggling with similar disabilities or child-rearing challenges. Please leave lots of comments. We look forward to hearing from you... Thank you for your continued support! Finally... Any parents can have a child with a disability. Even the healthiest person can suddenly develop a disability one day... If someone special to you... What would you do? Would you stay by their side and support them? Or... For some reason, U-chan always has a smile on her face... We too would like to spend our days smiling next to U-chan. Forever, forever... A beautiful heart An unfulfilled wish...
