Kunna Gosht Recipe | Mouth-Watering Traditional Meat Curry I Rich, Tender & Flavorful

Ingredients Mutton – 1 ½ kg (with Nalli and bones) Onions – 2 medium sized (sliced) Ginger garlic paste – 3 tbs Yogurts ½ cup Salt – 2 tsp Star anise (Bedian Ke Phool) – 1 piece (crushed to powder form) Green cardamom powder – ½ tsp Garam masala – 1 tsp Red chili powder – 1 tsp Turmeric powder – 1 tsp Coriander powder – 1 ½ tbs Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 tbs Flour – 3 tbs Jawatri powder – ½ tsp Black cumin seeds (crushed) – 1 tbs Water – 3 cups Desi ghee – 1 ½ big cooking spoon Recipe On a medium to high flame put pressure cooker to heat up. Once it’s hot add desi ghee into it to get heated. When the ghee turns hot add sliced onions into the cooker and stir to turn them golden brown. Then when they are golden brown add the mutton into the cooker and stir to mix and cook. Add a little water for better cooking. Then cook the mutton rigorously for it to change color. Then add ginger garlic paste into the cooker and mix to cook. Then add red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, Kashmiri red chili powder and garam masala into the cooker and mix to cook. Then add a little water and cook. Then after a while of cooking add a cup of water and mix. Then add yogurt and mix to cook. Then after cooking for a while add star anise crushed in powder form, turmeric powder, green cardamom powder and Jawatri powder into the cooker and mix to cook. Now put half of the crushed black cumin seeds into the cooker and mix it. Now after a few mins of cooking add 3 cups of water and close the lid of the cooker to cook mutton under pressure. This will take about 18 to 20 mins to cook after the whistle starts. Now dilute the flour in water to form a paste to use later as shown in video. Open the lid of the cooker after 20 mins and you can see meat is tender now so add the rest of the black crushed cumin seeds now and mix. Then add the diluted flour into the gravy by simultaneously stirring it so lumps aren’t made. This will thicken it a bit. Your yummy mutton kunna is ready to devour with naan. Enjoy.
