Balancing Healthy Habits, Weight Loss & Work + New Social Media Opportunity!
Join this channel to get access to perks: / @thejennifermadison Hi, I'm Jenn! Last year, I decided it was time to make a change. On July 21st, I made the decision to give up alcohol (I didn't have a goal for how long at the time). That decision led me to do 75 Hard, which has since changed my relationship with my diet and exercise, made me a reader, helped me become more consistent with social media and take it more seriously, and so much more. I'm not perfect, and I'm not yet where I want to be, but I am continuously working towards my goals. This week, I went from 165.8 to 165.3, going back down the 0.5 lbs I gained last week. I've continued to stay around 165, meaning I must be in my maintenance calories. I did eat out more than I should have this past week, but I continued to prioritize protein and attended my first sober wedding in a while. I completed two weight training workouts, went on multiple walks, and have continued to look for ways to get more exercise in. For work, I went into the office 4/5 days this week. Regarding social media, I've maintained my weekly uploads and started posting more short-form videos, but I didn't post a second long-form video. I was also accepted by Clean Simple Eats to work with them and now have a discount code to share (JENNIFERMADISON)! I'm always working to find balance with social media, my job, and family, and will continue to do so. This week and next, I have weddings I'm attending where I won't be drinking, but I will be enjoying the desserts! For this upcoming week, I'm going to focus most on my sleep schedule. I haven't been prioritizing sleep enough and want to focus more on rest so that I can rely less on caffeine throughout the day to keep me going. I'm also going to minimize the amount I eat out and keep that only for special occasions this upcoming week (Father's Day, my dad's birthday, the wedding). My goal is to do three weight training workouts this week and to incorporate more cardio. I look forward to continuing to make progress towards my goals and know that this isn't a 'quick fix' to lose weight; these are changes I want to make and maintain long-term to live a healthier lifestyle.
