The Height of Winter in Australia Looks Like THIS!?

Brits in Australia experience winter on the Sunshine Coast with Toy Story 5, World Cup chaos, City Cave Maroochydore, beach walks, coffee, ice cream and Picco in his doggy backpack. In this vlog, we bring you along for a few casual days living in Australia as two Brits on the Sunshine Coast. We start by heading out to watch the new Toy Story 5 film with our friend Diana, share our quick thoughts after the cinema and chat about how strange it feels leaving the cinema while it is still light outside. Back home, we settle in to watch more World Cup games and explain why there can sometimes be big time jumps in the vlogs, especially when we’re spending two hours watching a football match that doesn’t exactly make thrilling vlog content. After a very boring 0-0 England vs Ghana game, we head out for a long walk with coffees, stop for ice cream, return someone’s lost phone, try out some public exercise equipment and make it to the 5km turning point before Picco decides he is absolutely done walking and gets carried back in his doggy backpack. We also make seafood salad wraps at home before heading to City Cave in Maroochydore to try an infrared sauna and magnesium bath for the first time. The next day, feeling very relaxed, we head out for coffee, matcha and a barefoot winter beach walk with Picco, reflecting on how wild it is that this is the height of winter in Australia.
