Korengal, in the Kunar province, is famous for being the Valley of Death, the most dangerous place in Afghanistan. A hermetic place where some of the most terrible events in the war happened. It has been isolated for decades, and nobody could enter it like this. We go there with the Taliban, travel to the villages and the old American bases (like the famous Restrepo), and even sleep with the local elders.
