Paramotor Salton Sea 2022 My First Emergency Landing
Here is a uncut video of my first emergency landing story. I was in the Salton Sea Fly-in 2022 when this happened. I had no previous engine out landing practice. Reason for my emergency was that my pull starter housing broke in mid-air. I had replaced this starter housing less than one year ago due to the same breakage, but I was on the ground when it happened the first time. What made me mad was that ever since the replacement I had been religiously checking for any signs of cracking or loosening after every flight, but it still happened during flight. IMO, the housing was a bad design from manufacture. So, be careful if you are using an EOS 150 engine.
