Corvair Racecar Resurrection : Connecting Rods for the Engine

This installment of my saga is about engine connecting rods for my vintage 1969 Corvair racecar. While I am prepping the rods for my Corvair, the info here will give a good idea about connecting rods in any normal internal combustion engine (specifically in a racecar). Some folks buy complete built race engines, and others buy components already professionally balanced and conditioned, but nowadays, I'm doing as much of the work myself as I can. I do buy special racing bolts, nuts, studs, etc. from ARP when I can, and the connecting rods in the video were professionally tailored/modified (around 30 years ago) VW/Audi rods, but the the final processing of the parts (the balancing, etc.) is being done by me. Will this result in an Ultimate Corvair Race Motor? Not really... Will this be a good motor for vintage racing? That's my goal!
