AC Boise vs Sacramento | Press Conference | Nate Miller, Nick Moon, and Tumi Moshobane

Athletic Club Boise Head Coach Nate Miller, forward Nick Moon, and forward Tumi Moshobane met with the media following the club's 2-0 victory over Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday night at Athletic Club Boise Stadium. Miller said the team takes pride in protecting its home field and approaches every match with the mindset of performing at its highest level. He added that the group was motivated to defeat every USL Championship opponent they faced in the competition and prepared for the match as if it were every fan's first Athletic Club Boise game. Miller also praised goalkeeper Jonathan Kliewer for his performance, saying he continues to develop at a high level and deserved credit for making several key saves. While disappointed the club's USL Cup run came to an end after just one loss, Miller said it is difficult to advance from the group stage. Moon credited his partnership with Thomas Amang for his opening goal, saying the two work well together and have built strong chemistry. He also said the victory reinforces the team's belief that it can compete with and defeat USL Championship opponents. Moshobane described the result as a complete team effort, saying the players knew that if they could protect their 1-0 lead, they would give themselves a great chance to win. He added that the team has emphasized accountability, trusting one another, and doing their individual jobs, which has contributed to the club's strong defensive performances over the past several matches. Athletic Club Boise returns to league play next Friday at Home vs Portland Hearts of Pine.
