Opening The Coffin Of The Guards Of Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp

Throughout the Second World War, there were a number of German war criminals who committed horrific acts inside of the concentration camps. One of the most horrific camps was Bergen-Belsen where guards such as Irma Grese, Josef Kramer and Johanna Bormann were known for execution and torture. But many of these guards were then sentenced to death and they were executed by British executioner Albert Pierrepoint. But this was not the end of the story for the executed guards of Bergen-Belsen. The executed guards were then buried inside the walls of Hamelin Prison a short distance from the execution chamber, but when the British passed the prison back to the Germans the executed guards were exhumed.
