Flood-warning sirens provide critical early alert in Texas Hill Country

Recently installed flood-warning sirens helped alert residents and campers near the Guadalupe River in Texas Hill Country as floodwaters surged early Thursday. Around 3:30 a.m., six privately installed sirens in Ingram were triggered by river sensors, providing early warnings before rising waters reached nearby campsites.
