Sea-EagleCAM ~ MINE ALL MINE! SE36 CLAIMS, MANTLES & EATS A FISH PROTECTING IT FROM SE35🐟 2025 Nov 2

This morning SE35 ate a gull that delivered & part of a second one. Lady did feed some of the 2nd gull to SE36 but after not eating all day yesterday, SE36 was still hungry. A fish was brought in mid morning and although both 35 & 36 mantled for it, SE35 got it and ate the whole fish. An hour later, Lady brought a fish and this time SE36 was first to the fish & did a big mantle over it. There was no way SE36 was going to let SE35 have another delivery!! SE36 said "Mine all mine!!" and proceeded to eat it. SE36 continued to mantle during the course of eating it for 40 minutes (unzipped and ate almost the whole fish) and thwarted several attempts by SE35 to steal the fish. SE36 was really not hungry so pretty much resigns itself to watch SE36 eating. However, Lady returned to the nest & unfortunately that upset SE36's control over the fish & SE35 stole it and ate the remainder which was a small piece with the tail left. SE36 will need to continue to be aggressive at deliveries in order to make sure it gets fed. SE35 does not look like it has any intention of flying again any time soon either! Thank you for watching!
