During the night, Lady laid her second egg and then a short time later, she gets up to give us our first look at the two precious eggs! Lady rolls them and returns to incubating until the morning. Dad arrives back to the nest and they both engage in celebratory duet honking! They have a lot to say & celebrate! 🎶🎺 Dad was so excited that he jumps past Lady and goes to the nest for his first peek at the eggs and then incubates them. Congratulations Lady & Dad on your new clutch of eggs! We are excited to start a new season and wish you both success! These eggs will be SE37 & SE38 ♥ Thank you for watching! From EagleCam July 6-7 Night 4: "at dark Lady was on the egg. She sat, all fluffed up, moving on and off the egg in the nest bowl. Then sleeping – waiting. At 9:15 she stood, moved to the rim for a stretch, grooming her brood patch, then back to the egg and sleep again. 22:49 Lady shuffling in bowl, a bit unsettled. Later after 11pm she was seen elevated over egg, all ruffled up, then pushing …..shuffling, fluffed again & moving anticlockwise in bowl … then final settled and quiet. We feel the egg was laid at 23:21 and was first seen at 00:39a. She then incubated her 2 eggs, up briefly from time to time to roll the eggs and stretch a bit.
