Our First Eid as a Family of 4 | Newborn & Toddler Life | Busy Week Mom Vlog

Welcome back to our weekly family vlog! ❤️ We are a family of 4 living in Abu Dhabi with our 3-year-old son Saleh and our newborn baby girl. This week was a long Eid holiday in the UAE, so we spent lots of quality time together at home. In this vlog we share our ordinary family life: playing with our toddler, cooking, caring for our newborn, and continuing to adjust to life as a family of four. We also had our first pool trip with both kids! It was definitely challenging but fun — one parent stayed with the baby while the other played with Saleh in the pool, taking turns throughout the day. We celebrated Eid Al Adha for the first time as a family of four, did Qurbani, and took lots of family photos to remember this special time. I also had my first solo outing with both kids while my husband was at work. We took a taxi to IKEA for their Eastern European food week. I was excited to find some familiar flavors and enjoyed herring under a fur coat (shuba), although I was hoping for more Russian dishes. Of course, Saleh convinced me to buy a parking garage toy while we were there! This week I also received AirPods as a gift, made homemade sauerkraut and cottage cheese (I'm completely obsessed with making it lately!), and got a beautiful Eid gift from work — Omani halwa in a gorgeous box. To celebrate my birthday, we visited a newly opened Russian and Uzbek restaurant in Abu Dhabi. The plov was absolutely delicious! Meanwhile, Saleh created his own special birthday cake using cucumber, orange, apples, ice, and other interesting ingredients... but even he couldn't eat it in the end 😄 It was a productive, fun, and memory-filled week.
