Welcome back to another weekly family vlog from Abu Dhabi! ❤️ This week we're sharing a simple and cozy week in our life as a family of four. We are adjusting to life with our newborn baby girl while keeping up with our active 3-year-old son, Saleh. Some days feel easy, some days feel challenging, but we're slowly finding our rhythm as a family. At the beginning of the week, Saleh's dadi returned home to India after spending time with us and helping after the baby's arrival. The first few days on our own felt a little overwhelming as we learned how to balance the needs of a newborn and an energetic toddler. Thankfully, with each day we became more confident and settled into our new routine. This vlog is filled with ordinary family moments that make up our everyday life. We spend lots of time playing with Saleh, reading books together, solving puzzles, and watching him proudly try to teach his baby sister how to play with his toy kitchen. We also enjoy relaxing activities like coloring after busy days and spending quality time together at home. Since we are an international family - my husband is from India and I am from Russia, we love bringing both cultures into our home. This week we cooked a mix of traditional Indian and Russian dishes and even baked homemade bread. As the Abu Dhabi summer arrives and temperatures continue to rise, we spend our mornings and evenings outside whenever possible. We water our garden to help the plants survive the heat, play in the kids' pool outside our villa, and visit local parks where Saleh enjoys playing football. We also watched workers trim the palm trees and learned that removing old palm leaves is something that has to be done every year! Other little moments from our week include washing the stroller until it looked brand new again, removing birthday decorations after the celebrations, taking family walks around our neighborhood, and simply enjoying the everyday moments that make family life special.
