Dampfloks 03 2155 und 50 3501 lassen Thüringen beben (4K)

On the last weekend in March 2025, there were once again loud steam locomotives to experience in Thuringia. The first of these was 50 3501 from the Meiningen Steam Locomotive Club. She is travelling from Meiningen to Eisenach and climbs the ramp from Schmalkalden to Zella-Mehlis and on to Oberhof. Afterwards, 03 2155 is not long in coming. It reaches Saalfeld with a special train from Berlin. It then undertakes a round trip from Saalfeld via Arnstadt and Weimar to Saalfeld. In the evening, the 50 3501 is on its way back to Meiningen. It can be seen in Gräfenroda and Steinbach-Hallenberg. The next day, the 03 2155 makes another round trip from Saalfeld via Arnstadt and Weimar to Saalfeld. In top form, she climbs the Thürungen gradients again.
