For over 100 years, steam locomotives have been repaired in Meiningen, in southern Thuringia. Today, the steam locomotive works is one of the last major workshops for steam locomotive repair in Europe. We first filmed in the workshops in 1991. Over the last 30 years, an irreplaceable collection and treasure trove of footage has been amassed. We've selected the best for you.
