Cardiff Transport Preservation Group restoration of Ex Leyland Leopard Western Welsh TKG 518J 2022

The CTPG has owned Ex Western Welsh Leyland Leopard 1518 for a number of years. It has been converted to tow-bus duties at the Ely workshops late in its career, and later went on to serve with Sixty/Sixty at Merthyr Tydfil . 1518 was new in 1971 to Western Welsh and allocated first to Barry, then Cardiff Penarth Road, finally Bridgend. It later transferred ownership to National Welsh & Stagecoach Red & White. The CTPG & Stagecoach R&W restored the bus in time for the Western Welsh 90th anniversary held the CTPG Barry Depot 2021. The video was made in 2022 and shows inside depot moves of TKG 518J at earlier & later dates.
