#bmwmotorrad #R1100S #motovlog #touring I rode my BMW R1100S with my usual touring group to Murouji Temple, a beautiful mountain temple in Uda City, Nara, to see the rhododendrons in bloom. We gathered early in the morning at Taishi Onsen Bike Shrine Osaka, then took a relaxed ride through Nara’s city streets before heading deep into the mountains toward Murouji. After visiting the temple, we stopped by “Hagino,” a soba restaurant in Haibara known for excellent tempura and handmade soba. For dessert, we visited a café attached to “Tengyokudo Terrace,” famous for kuzu mochi made with Yoshino kudzu. This was a fairly light touring day, but it had everything I enjoy about riding in Japan: a comfortable distance, peaceful mountain roads, beautiful temple scenery, and great local food.
