I took my Buell XB12Ss out for a relaxed group ride with my usual touring friends, cruising through the mountains of the Kita-Harima area in Hyogo. This time, instead of meeting locally, we gathered at a convenience store in Nose Town, Toyono District in northern Osaka, and first headed to Lavender Park Taka to enjoy the lavender fields. After that, we had lunch at a hidden-style soba restaurant nestled in the mountains, then enjoyed a calm ride along the lakeside of Ginzan Lake near Ikuno Silver Mine, continuing on to Kamikawa Town where we relaxed at an outdoor tea spot at Senrei Tea Garden. At the end, I parted ways with the group and rode solo up to Tonomine Highlands, taking a break while enjoying the peaceful grassland scenery before heading home through winding mountain roads. It was a satisfying ride with a solid amount of distance for the first time in a while.
