Hello everyone. Today, I've returned to the same rapids where I fished on opening day. About a month and a half has passed, and the ayu (sweetfish) should have grown considerably. Have their territories changed, or are they biting in the same spots as on opening day? I'll spend the day fishing carefully, trying to figure these things out. The place where I actually caught them was indeed very similar to the spot on opening day. The number of fish I caught didn't increase, but the ayu were noticeably larger, and I could feel their growth. And then, at the end of today, a series of unexpected events unfold. A line break the moment I hooked what seemed to be a good-sized ayu. The identity of the fish captured by the underwater camera.
