Rethinking My Bonsai Collection After Winter!

Hi everyone and welcome back to the channel 🌿 Today’s video is a bit more of an honest update, and unfortunately not the happiest one. In this video, I’m talking through what’s happened over the winter with my tropical bonsai trees while they’ve been stored indoors in the plant room. Now, ever since moving into this property, the plant room has never really been fully sealed from the elements. It’s something that’s needed repairs for a while, and with the colder weather we had this winter, the temperatures inside dropped more than I’d hoped. Sadly, that’s had a negative effect on some of the tropical trees. A few of them are struggling badly, and if I’m being realistic, it looks like I may have actually lost some of them altogether—which is never a nice feeling, especially after putting time and effort into their development. So in this video, I talk openly about where things stand, what I think went wrong, and the decision I’m now considering moving forward. And honestly… I’m starting to think it might be better for me to focus more on the outdoor trees and potentially sell off the tropical collection altogether. It’s not a decision I’ve made lightly, but after this winter, it feels like the right time to really think about what’s sustainable long term. If you want the full story and more details behind the decision, make sure to watch the video. As always, I hope you enjoy it, even if it’s a slightly different kind of upload. Feel free to leave a comment below with your thoughts or advice—it’s always appreciated.
