Walter Pall's Decision — Carpinus orientalis bonsai Yamadori Styling - Part 2

In Part 1, I asked you which subtrunks you would remove. Now you get Walter Pall's answer. This is the same massive Carpinus orientalis bonsai yamadori — collected in Croatia in early spring 2024 with Andrija Zokic — but this time, the crown gets addressed. Walter Pall and I worked through the subtrunk structure together, and the decisions we made will shape this tree for the next decade. Not all of them will be obvious. Some of what Walter suggested surprised me too. If you haven't seen Part 1, the repotting session and the full subtrunk puzzle are there — the crown work here makes more sense with that context. This tree is a long game. The root structure was sorted in Part 1. The primary trunk decisions happen here. The refinement work begins in 2027. 🌿 Subscribe for the full multi-year development of this tree 🎓 Walter Pall — one of the most influential bonsai artists in Europe 🔧 SUPPORT THE CHANNEL Affiliate disclosure: Some links below are affiliate links.
