Brooks Glycerin 22 Vs Brooks Glycerin Max | Four runners compare the brand's top cushioned shoes

The Brooks Glycerin line has long been a go-to for runners looking for a good balance of comfort, cushioning and stability. The Glycerin 22 continues those aspects of the shoe but features a few updates to improve the ride. The Brooks Glycerin Max takes the fundamentals of the popular Glycerin line and beefs up the midsole with the brand's newest foam, DNA Tuned. Made from dual-cell technology, DNA Tuned is a nitrogen-infused foam made up of large cells in the heel to provide soft, comfortable landings with smaller cells in the forefoot to promote a response toe-off.
