First, a stint in Africa, and from 2008 to 2014, he managed a shelter in Piedmont, a place of comfort and assistance for women victims of trafficking and exploitation, including those with children. Since September 2014, she has been in charge of the "Capanna di Betlemme" in Chieti, a 24-hour shelter founded by Don Oreste Benzi.
