How Bad Did It Get In Jamestown New York?

Exploring the Rust Belt Area of Jamestown, New York and it's....rough. With a violent crime rate 121% over the National Average, poverty level of 28%, and a declining population every year this city is on quite a downward spiral it seems. With the decline in industrial production, many jobs were lost here and after the 1980's, many businesses were closed or bankrupt by then. Abandoned homes are all over the place, as are businesses to this day, just gone. The city has attempted to revitalize with historic preservations, sports entertainment, and even comedy but has really struggled throughout. Will it make a comeback?
