Braiding Rawhide Rein Connectors
The rein chains on my bit broke recently. Rather than buy a new set, I decided to braid a pair of rawhide rein connectors. Although they are not a work of art, they are functional. I'm not sure how traditional the rawhide loops are connecting to the bit, but they did get the rein connectors to lay correctly. Personally, I find enjoyment in making my own gear, and hopefully, these videos can motivate a few of you to try your hand at some of the traditional crafts. They are not for everyone, but you might find them an enjoyable way to pass the time, make something good, connect with history, and find some satisfaction. I hope you enjoy the video and good luck with your projects! https://www.flyingaoutfitters.com/raw...
