Making a Bosal Hanger

Making a bosal hanger out of some chap leather. There are lots of different ways to make these, and seems like most are made out of latigo leather. However, I'm happy with how this turned out. As you can see, if you have the right kind of leather and a knife, you can make one pretty easily. It's not complicated. I hope these videos encourage some of you to make your own gear. For many people, making and fixing your own gear is part of the tradition. Crafting like this not only produces functional gear but connects us with a slower and older way of living.
