Building Our Dream English Cottage Porch | DIY Stone Veneer (Part 1)

🏡 Can a simple stone porch completely transform a garden house? I think so! In today's DIY home and garden project, we're giving our garden house porch a beautiful English cottage makeover by installing a fieldstone veneer on the porch walls. This is Part 1 of the transformation! We start by installing cement board (concrete backer board) before carefully mortaring each piece of natural fieldstone into place. Along the way, I'll share the techniques we're using, why we chose this method, and how we achieved the same timeless look on our DIY stone fireplace.
