We traveled from Izmir via Copenhagen. The flight from Copenhagen to Vagar (Faroe Islands) takes approximately 2 hours. There are also direct flights from Iceland and Scotland. The flights are operated by Atlantic Airways, the country's national airline. 🛃 Visa Although the Faroe Islands are a territory of the Kingdom of Denmark, they are not part of the Schengen Area. Therefore, entry with your existing Schengen visa is not permitted. You also need to apply for a Faroe Islands visa through Denmark. If you don't have a current Schengen visa, you'll need to obtain a valid Schengen visa for the Faroe Islands through Denmark. Turkish citizens with green passports can enter the Faroe Islands without a visa. 🏡 Accommodation in the Faroe Islands Hotel and house rental options are limited in the Faroe Islands.
