In Yakutsk, the coldest city in the world, I pushed my limits at -30 °C and jumped into the waters of a frozen river, joining the winter festivities of the Yakuts. From adrenaline-fueled drifting on ice to traditional ice fishing on a frozen river and sledding, I checked out the most fun activities in Yakutsk. There are 2-3 flights a day from Moscow to Yakutsk by airlines such as Yakutia Airlines, Aeroflot and S7 Airlines. Due to the current embargo in Russia, tickets cannot be purchased from the airlines' own websites with Turkish credit cards. Intermediary sites are required. You can apply for an e-visa via the link below. The process is quite easy. You fill out the visa application form on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (https://evisa.kdmid.ru/), upload a copy of your passport and a photo, and pay the visa fee of approximately 52 USD with your credit card.
