After many years, I returned to the La Plata racetrack, the epicenter of the main activity for the feeder series of Turismo Carretera. The sound of a pushrod inline-6 engine is always special, and hearing it in categories leading up to TC makes it even more so. In the sporting aspect, the driver from Entre Ríos, Manuel Borgert, secured pole position aboard the Ford prepared by Fadel Werner Competición. In TC Pista Mouras, Juan Pablo Alberti did the same with the Chevy from the RUS MED Team. On Sunday, Nicolás Jaime took victory in the TC Pista Mouras final with the Dodge prepared by Galarza Racing, joined on the podium by Juan Pablo Alberti and Santino Ortiz. In the TC Mouras final, Lucas Carabajal, driving the Ford from Emanuel Moriatis' team, claimed his second win of the year. Behind him, Leandro González maintained a solid pace to finish second with the Chevrolet from JP Carrera, while Thomas Pozner rounded out the podium with the Dodge from Canning Motorsport.
