Without a doubt, it was a weekend full of emotions. Everything suggests it was the last time Turismo Carretera raced on the legendary Circuit No. 12 in its original layout, and it may also have been the farewell of the iconic Grandstand 15, home to the Chevrolet fans, which will be torn down (along with others) as part of the renovations aimed at preparing the venue for international competitions such as MotoGP and (hopefully) Formula 1. At the same time, ACTC officially announced the arrival of Mercedes-Benz as a new brand in TC starting in 2026, a historic milestone that opens a new chapter in the most popular motorsport category in Argentina. The action began on Saturday with qualifying. Agustín Canapino secured pole position with his Chevrolet Camaro from Canning Motorsport, followed by Christian Ledesma and Juan Martín Trucco. In TC Pista, Bautista Damiani surprised everyone by setting a track record with his Chevrolet, ahead of Joaquín Ochoa and Marco Dianda. On Sunday, the finals kept the excitement alive until the very end. Canapino capped off a perfect weekend with victory, while Ledesma finished second and Marcelo Agrelo came in third, also securing the Regular Season. In TC Pista, Marco Dianda claimed his first victory driving the Dodge from Galarza Racing, with Joaquín Ochoa and José Rasuk completing the podium. As has been the case in recent years, the Buenos Aires round marked the end of the regular season and determined the 12 drivers who will fight for the coveted Gold Cup.
