The level crossing, which also has unusually small "Keep Crossing Clear" signage, is very well lit, and this greatly helped filming and visibility here despite the fact that it was completely dark. The current set-up of level crossing protective and warning equipment dates back to a full renewal which happened in 2013, and signalling on this line (including the operation of this level crossing) is taken care of from the Woking Area Signalling Centre. As can be seen, the first train in the video, a London Waterloo to Alton service, was incredibly busy with commuters returning home for the evening. Thanks for watching!
