We’re making these aromatic meat snacks from scratch—the perfect snack to pair with beer, while watching a movie, on a picnic, or on the go. The jerky turns out rich, spicy, chewy, and very meaty. We used a pork loin and made 3 different flavors right away: 🌶 Sweet Chili 🍅 Tomato Spice 🥘 Curry Sesame This is a versatile base for homemade meat jerky that you can customize to your own taste. ✅ BASIC MARINADE for 1 kg of pork shoulder: • Table salt — 8 g • Nitrite salt — 10 g • Paprika — 5 g • Dried garlic (homemade) — 5 g • Black pepper — 3 g • Sugar — 2 g • Nutmeg — 1 g • Soy sauce — 50 ml 🔥 ADDITIONAL FLAVORS: 1️⃣ Sweet Chili • For every 0.5 kg of meat — 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce 2️⃣ Tomato Spice • For every 0.5 kg — 50 ml tomato paste • 5 g red hot pepper 3️⃣ Curry Sesame • 1 tsp curry • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds ⏳ Marinating: 6–12 hours 🌡 Drying: 50–60°C for about 8–10 hours In the video, we’ll show you: ✔ How to properly cut meat for jerky ✔ Which spices work best ✔ How to dry jerky in a dehydrator or oven ✔ How to make meat snacks to go with beer ✔ How long to dry the meat ✔ Which flavor turned out best
