Camparino is a bar that has shaped the history of the Italian aperitif, well beyond Milan city. Founded in 1915 by Davide Campari himself, this bar is responsible for several inventions in the world of mixology, including the first and only single-ingredient cocktail, the shakerato. Tommaso Cecca, now the mind and face of the Milanese venue, reconstructs the history of the Camparino and the shakerato, then turns the spotlight to two young bartenders—Francesco Polo of Carico Milano and Nicola Romiti of Doping Bar—and their tributes to this icon of Italian drinking savoir-faire.
