The property was conceived as the first home for the owners' son, who came from another state to start his professional life in São Paulo. However, in the future, the owners also have the option of using the apartment for short-term rentals through Airbnb. The project focused on integrating the living room and terrace to bring in more natural light and enhance the feeling of spaciousness. This was already benefited by the high ceilings, maintained by the professional, who opted not to use mezzanines even in a compact space. Thus, the great challenge was to optimize every inch. The result combines a living room, office, and a complete kitchen, with plenty of cabinets and even a washing machine, all in a functional and well-resolved way. Even so, the bedroom is kept separate to provide more privacy and comfort. The carpentry is the protagonist, with emphasis on the green that creates personality and becomes an attractive differentiator for a future rental. In the bathroom, the tiling dialogues with the original finish of the construction company, while the flooring that runs throughout the apartment ensures a neutral and timeless base. With about 1 month of design and 3 months of construction, the result is a compact apartment, with just the right amount of color and intelligent design, that balances practicality, aesthetics, and versatility for different phases of use.
