Working through Andrea’s practice ATOMAA, the couple opened up the once dark and compartmentalised apartment to embrace light, flexibility, and connection between spaces. The kitchen and bathroom were relocated, allowing a generous stainless steel kitchen to become the heart of the home, while sliding timber screens inspired by the playful colours and patterns of the 1960s and 70s hide the bathroom and allow the bedroom to open directly onto the living area.
