Ligne 14 : les nouvelles stations prêtes à accueillir leurs voyageurs

The extension of Line 14 northward between Saint-Lazare and Mairie de Saint-Ouen will open to the public on December 14. Three new stations will open: Pont Cardinet, Saint-Ouen RER, and Mairie de Saint-Ouen. A fourth station, Porte de Clichy, will open in January. This extension aims to relieve the overcrowded Line 13. An additional 200,000 passengers will use Line 14 daily on this section. With 750,000 daily passengers, Line 14 will be the busiest line in the RATP network, along with Line 1. New, more modern, and longer trains (120 meters long compared to the current 90 meters) are being progressively put into service. There will be 35 of them by 2022. The extension will continue north to Saint-Denis Pleyel and south to Orly Airport in 2024.
