The perpetrator stole the victim's motorcycle and cell phone. While resting after a tiring day of earning a living, Agus Tedjo, an online motorcycle taxi driver, met a tragic end. In the early hours of Sunday (July 12, 2026), Agus was found dead by his partner with multiple stab wounds in the Kosambi area, Tangerang Regency, Banten. Furthermore, the victim's belongings, including his motorcycle and cell phone, were also stolen. Two days later, police arrested the perpetrator, who was hiding in a rented house in the Kamal Muara area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. However, because he tried to resist officers, the Sub-Directorate of the Mobile Detective Unit of the Directorate of General Crimes of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police was forced to shoot him in the leg. The perpetrator's motive was aroused after seeing the victim asleep. Pressured by wedding expenses, he then resorted to stealing the victim's motorcycle and cell phone. However, the perpetrator panicked when the victim woke up and ultimately killed her. For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with murder and theft, which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
