If you're doing High Intensity Training (HIT), whether you're a beginner or an experienced lifter, there's a good chance you're making at least one of these 5 critical mistakes that are stopping your muscle gains as a natural lifter! From training splits, to full body workouts, training too little and too much, we will delve into it all and help you avoid these issues that can stop you from getting the most out of your training. I've been training naturally with Naturally Intense High Intensity Training for the past 34 years and have coached thousands of men and women with this unique form of HIT. That being said, I see these mistakes sabotaging muscle growth and leading to injury for many natural bodybuilders and natural lifters. I've always believed that to whom much is given, much is expected, and as such I put together this video to ensure that those trying Naturally Intense High Intensity Training on their own, can fix these mistakes and get better results in less time! The 5 HIT Mistakes People Make (And How to Fix Them) The first mistake is training for too long. Most people train too long to call it Naturally Intense High-Intensity Training. Your energy systems simply cannot sustain genuine all-out effort for 30–60 minutes. And in the video I will go over the maximum amount of time you can train as natural athlete when pushing to failure with no rest between sets. The second high intensity training mistake I see is Doing the Same Exercises Every Workout. Repeating the same routine causes plateaus (no unaccustomed stimulus = no growth) and leads to overuse injuries, especially for natural bodybuilders. Naturally Intense High Intensity Training means always changing your exercises which protects your joints and keeps you building muscle naturally. The third HIT mistake I see is doing full body high intensity training workouts. Full-body sessions are incompatible with our system of high intensity training as you cannot go all out on big body parts like legs and still have anything left. The fourth mistake is training too often or not often enough. Decades of HIT experience show natural athletes progress best training just 3 times per week—no more and no less. When muscle gain is the goal, combining steady state cardio with true HIT drastically reduces your muscle mass, fat loss, and overall strength.
