The Biggest Muscle Growth Mistake: RESTING Between Sets!
Resting too much between your sets can significantly decreases training intensity and curtails your muscle growth as a natural lifter! In my Naturally Intense High Intensity Training, there is zero to minimal rest between sets. We go nonstop from one set to the other, then from one exercise to the other resting only as long as it takes to change the weights or set up. This high intensity training technique helped me realize my goal of becoming a successful natural bodybuilding champion, and has helped hundreds of men and women over the past three decades, and it can help take you to the next level as well. Here's the problem, most people think muscle is built during the set from more weight, more reps and more exercises but what you do between your sets matters just as much. In this video, I break down why resting between sets may be holding you back, and how training with minimal rest can create the kind of intensity required for real muscle growth, especially for natural athletes. Because muscle doesn’t grow from time, muscle growth is an adaptive process that comes from unaccustomed stimulus taken to the point of overload. So if you feel fully recovered between sets, it might be a sign that you are not training hard enough!
