Ein Stellplatz, eine Wanderung in Bad Rodach und ein Besuch in Coburg

We always enjoy going to Bad Rodach. There's a campervan site right next to the thermal baths. We stayed for three nights. A night for two people, including the visitor's tax, now costs €23. The town is located on the border of Thuringia and Bavaria and is a great starting point for hikes and bike tours in the surrounding area. Our destination was the "Henneberger Warte" observation tower on Georgenberg hill. It's an easy hike of about 4-5 kilometers. Since there's also a lovely restaurant with a beer garden on Georgenberg, you can treat yourself to a delicious meal and a refreshing drink. The next day, we took the train to Coburg and visited the old town with Ehrenburg Palace. Of course, we also hiked up to the Veste Coburg fortress, which towers 160 meters above the city. ...`` ``` ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````) ```````) ```) ```` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` Our links: https://www.bad-rodach.de https://www.therme-natur.de https://www.therme-natur.de/wohnmobil... https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Rodach https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coburg https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veste_C... https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schloss... https://www.coburg.de/index.php https://www.coburgmarketing.de Contents: 00:00 Intro and route 01:03 Directions 02:13 Hike to the "Henneberger Warte" 04:21 Brief introduction to the campervan site 13:54 Coburg Old Town and Fortress 22:45 Drone footage 24:34 Return journey through the tunnel
