Homemade Ice Cream — No Ice Cream Freezer Needed

Homemade Ice Cream — two creamy flavors, no ice cream freezer, and only two hours in the freezer. Do you remember those hot summer days when the whole family gathered around that old hand-crank ice cream freezer, and everybody took a turn? We loved it — but we're not getting one out today. This homemade ice cream comes together with a stand mixer (or just a hand mixer), a loaf pan, and about twenty minutes of work. We're making strawberry cheesecake and peach cheesecake, both from the same simple base, and I promise your family will be asking for a second bowl. INGREDIENTS (per flavor — makes 8 servings): 2 cups - Heavy cream 8 oz - Cream cheese, room temperature 14 oz - Sweetened condensed milk (1 can) 1 teaspoon - Vanilla extract 2 cups - Fresh strawberries OR fresh peaches, peeled and pureed 1/2 cup - Crushed graham crackers (about 3 whole crackers), plus extra for topping CHAPTERS: 0:00 — Remember the Hand-Crank Ice Cream Freezer? 0:37 — The Ingredients 1:32 — Crushing the Graham Crackers 3:23 — Getting the Fruit Ready 4:33 — Whipping the Cream 6:13 — Building the Cheesecake Base 8:39 — Folding in the Graham Crackers 9:07 — Into the Pan and Into the Freezer 9:51 — The Peach Batch 10:24 — The Taste Test 15:08 — Final Thoughts If you loved this recipe, you might also enjoy: 👉 This Chocolate Pie Is My Absolute Favorite —    • This Chocolate Pie Is My Absolute Favorite   👉 All of my desserts -    • Desserts   New here?
